Ruairi Keran began his career at Dell Technologies before moving to Austin, Texas to work for a startup company. After two years in Austin, he returned to Ireland and co-founded HiddenGent, which sold luxury men's gifts.
The Beginning
Gaining Growth
Despite facing initial challenges in establishing their presence online and offline, Ruairi Keran and his business partner, Sam, were able to gain popularity for their company, HiddenGent, through their website and social media channels. This helped to draw attention to their unique gift boxes and accessories, leading to successful partnerships with over 50 retailers including Arnotts, McElhinney's, and Gifts.ie.
Learning from failure
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, HiddenGent was forced to close. The restrictions put in place resulted in cash flow and stock issues for the company. This taught Ruairi the importance of having a robust and adaptable business model

Scaling
Their results driven attitude and ability to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape helped them quickly gain a large and loyal client base. The business continued to scale and hit it's first €450,000k month in November of 2022.
Partnership
The success and reputation of CSM Agency caught the attention of other businesses in the industry, which ultimately led to an opportunity to partner with Evolve Marketing. After working together on several successful projects, it became clear that the two companies shared a common vision and values, and they decided to join forces under the same parent company in 2020.
Turning Failure into success
Ruairi also established a performance marketing agency in 2017 for B2B services-based businesses at the same time as HiddenGent which began to grow and thrive during the pandemic.
